Privacy Policy

This policy explains what GuruGPT stores to run Google sign-in, maintain conversation history, and deliver contextual spiritual AI responses.

Effective date: June 6, 2026

What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how GuruGPT collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the platform.

GuruGPT is a conversational product designed for spiritual inquiry. Because it stores chat history and uses model providers to generate replies, some of the information you submit is processed to operate the service.

Information we collect

GuruGPT may collect the following categories of information:

  • Google account data used for sign-in, such as your name, email, Google user ID, and profile image.
  • Authentication data required to keep you signed in.
  • Chat session metadata such as titles, timestamps, and account association.
  • Your prompts and the AI responses generated for those prompts.
  • Basic technical and operational logs needed to secure and maintain the service.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • Authenticate users and maintain accounts.
  • Provide conversational responses and preserve chat continuity.
  • Generate chat titles and improve session usability.
  • Monitor platform stability, prevent abuse, and resolve technical issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce platform terms.

How chats are processed

When you send a message, GuruGPT processes your prompt together with prior messages in the same conversation so the assistant can respond with context.

Chat content may be sent to external model infrastructure used to generate the response. Do not submit confidential or highly sensitive information unless you are comfortable with that processing.

Data retention

Account information, chat sessions, and messages may be retained for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain continuity, investigate abuse, or satisfy legal obligations.

Retention periods may change as the product evolves. If deletion tools or account removal workflows are added later, this policy may be updated to reflect them.

Sharing of information

GuruGPT does not describe selling personal information in this product flow.

Information may be shared in limited cases such as:

  • With authentication providers needed for sign-in.
  • With infrastructure or model providers needed to generate responses and operate the service.
  • When required by law, regulation, legal process, or valid government request.
  • To protect the security, rights, and integrity of the platform or its users.

Security

GuruGPT uses reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect stored information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for protecting access to your Google account and any device or browser session used to access GuruGPT.

Children

GuruGPT is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to consent to online services in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact the platform operator through the published support channel.

Your choices

You can choose what information you submit in prompts. If you no longer wish to use GuruGPT, you can stop using the service and sign out.

Any future account deletion, export, or privacy request workflow may be published in-product or through the support channel as the platform matures.

Updates and contact

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in product behavior, infrastructure, or legal requirements.

For privacy questions or requests, use the contact or support channel published with GuruGPT.
